British Veterinary Journal "The
presentation is masterly with indexing and cross-indexing allowing full
access to all the data in an unambiguous manner".
"The prescribing veterinarian would be
well advised to take notice and see to it, not only that he has the handbook
in his car, but also knows which of the products contained therein are being
fed to animals in his care".
The Veterinary Record
"This Handbook has become even more
useful than previously … providing the information needed for the careful
completion of veterinary written directions in an easy to use format. By
having all data sheets arranged in alphabetical order any one named product
can be located rapidly. Thus, the inclusion rates for a product, the
quantity of active ingredient(s) in the final feed, the product licence
number, the withdrawal period and any other relevant information can be
found quickly".
Don Haxby (former President of the Royal Veterinary
College)
reviewing the Handbook in Feed Compounder
"This publication will be an invaluable
aid and reference for all farm animal practitioners to whom I commend it.
"It contains in alphabetical order,
using trade names, all the commonly used feed additives giving inclusion
rates, contra-indications, dosage rates and methods of administration.
Withdrawal times are cited. Package quantities and legal categories are
clearly stated thus making it easy for the busy veterinary surgeon to write
an accurate prescription without recourse to individual company data sheets.
"Buy it and save time, temper and
trouble".
Dr Brian Cooke (former Chairman of the UKASTA Scientific
Committee)
"The Handbook is of vital importance to
all feed manufacturers, veterinary surgeons and, indeed, anyone involved
with farm livestock production and husbandry".
The Farmers Guardian
"Home-Mix Must
"A book which has proved invaluable to
home-mixers, tradesmen and veterinary surgeons alike".
